Sorry to leave you hanging for a couple days.
Day 3 of this experiment I cheated and weighed myself. I had lost three pounds already! That energized me so much I believed I could do anything and decided to do 4 circuits, warm-up and cool down on Jill-Jill's DVD.
OOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW-CH! I really mean that. OUCH!
I did manage to almost not take a break every five minutes. She gets you doing these exercises and tells you that "you just have to keep trying, you don't know how strong you really are until you try".
Jill-Jill, I know I am not strong enough (yet) to do oblique twists, mountain climbers, pike crunches, jumping jacks, REPEAT. Then move on the harder circuits. Ow!
After I finished I did a tiny round of Denise Austin Yoga just for the stretches. It helped a little as I was able to move that night and the next morning.
Day 4: I gave Jill-Jill a rest and went to Anti Gravity Yoga. I highly recommend this to ALL. I go to a little place called Imagination Place in Salt Lake City. Their staff is awesome in that they will work with you while you are doing the workout. Yesterday the teacher could see I, and another girl were struggling with the upside down push up crunches (I am sure there is a technical name for them, no idea what it is) so the teacher, while still giving us a great workout eased up on us.
It is NOT an easy class but it is so addicting. I think my need to prove to myself and others that "I can do anything you can do better" keeps me going back.
I will master the angel roll!
I am trying to work out a coupon deal with them so if you mention my website you get a discount. I'll let you know as soon as that happens, but the first class is only $10 so you can go and try it and see if you like it without breaking the bank. It's also nice because you don't have to sign up for a package. You can, but you can also pay class by class. They offer child care and have classes everyday of the week.
Check it out:
Just look for the Anti Gravity Yoga sign.
Day 5: Is just starting. I will write more about that later. ;)

OK, after it said "Check it out:" there was supposed to be a link. You can find it at www.imaginationplace.com though.
